About BHNCDSB

The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board (BHNCDSB) offers faith-based education to 13,000 students from Six Nations of the Grand River, Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, Brant, Haldimand, and Norfolk Counties, and the City of Brantford. The district has 1,700 full and part-time staff committed to Belonging, Teaching and Learning, and Wellness for all. We are unique in that we belong to three Dioceses: Hamilton, London and St. Catharines. We are located within a one-hour radius of Toronto to the east, London to the west, and Kitchener-Waterloo to the north.

As a Catholic community, we work with families and community agencies to provide the best learning environments and ensure that all learners reach their full potential and feel safe and included.

New Staff

If you are beginning your career, you can be confident that our Board provides support; whether it is professional development, classroom resources, or mentors, BHNCDSB is here for you.

We have schools in rural and urban settings so staff can choose a location that fits their lifestyle. Even in a competitive real estate market, our communities offer affordable homes as well as amazing tourism-based activities. You can walk/hike/bike kilometers of paved trails, enjoy lakefront restaurants and vineyards, tube down the Grand River, join extreme mountain biking groups, attend a live theatre show, or join a multi-location artist tour. We are blessed to be in an area with something for everyone and every family.
