Administration Process

Administration of the BHNCDSB Student Survey: Valuing Your Voice will occur in March 2025.

The BHNCDSB Student Survey will be available online during their respective administration periods, accessed through a link on students’ BrightSpace page.

Secondary Students

March 3-7, 2025

Students in Grades 9 to 12 will be invited to participate in the BHNCDSB Student Survey from March 3 to 7. Secondary students who choose to participate will complete the Student Survey during class time. Board-provided electronic devices will be available for completion of the Student Survey. Teachers will be present to guide the administration process, answer any questions, and assist students as needed.

Elementary Students

March 17-28, 2025

Students in Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8 will be invited to participate in the BHNCDSB Student Survey from March 17 to 28. Elementary students are invited to participate in the survey at home, with the support of their families.

Participation in the Student Survey is voluntary. It will take approximately 15 minutes to complete the Student Survey. Participants can skip any questions they do not want to answer and can stop participating at any time. Responses on the survey will be kept confidential, and only anonymous group data will be presented in any reports.
