City of Brantford (Elementary) Attendance Boundary Review

School boundary reviews are conducted by the Board to review the attendance area for a school or a group of schools due to changes in student enrolment, program demands, new school construction or other factors.

The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board is committed to a transparent process for decision-making with regard to boundary reviews, as described in the School Boundary Review Administrative Procedure. The Board will ensure that communities affected by boundary changes have a clear understanding of the process and the level of consultation that will take place.

A School Attendance Boundary Review is led by an Attendance Boundary Review Committee (ABRC). The ABRC will work collaboratively and provide feedback and recommendations that will inform the final decision made by the Board of Trustees on boundary changes within the reviewed area.

The commencement of a School Boundary Review process is initiated and approved by the Board of Trustees.

City of Brantford (Elementary) review beginning in June 2025 and involving:

    • Madonna Della Libera Catholic Elementary School (Brantford)
    • Notre Dame School (Brantford)
    • Our Lady of Providence Catholic Elementary School (Brantford)
    • Resurrection School (Brantford)
    • St. Basil Catholic Elementary School (Brantford)
    • St. Gabriel Catholic Elementary School (Brantford)
    • St. Leo School (Brantford)
    • St. Patrick School (Brantford)
    • St. Peter School (Brantford)
    • St. Pius X Catholic Elementary School (Brantford)

    Board Approved City of Brantford Attendance Boundary Review

      At the June 23, 2026 Board Meeting the Board of Trustees approved the City of Brantford Attendance Boundary Review with the following amendment:

      “THAT the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board, approved the amended City of Brantford elementary school attendance boundaries, as outlined in Figure 4 and Figure 5, with the removal of Area 37 to remain at St. Peter School, effective September 2028.”

      The Board meeting minutes outlining the approved amendment will be posted following the September 22, 2026 Board Meeting, once they have been approved.
