End of Year Message to Families and Staff

As the school year comes to a close and summer break begins, we want to take a moment to reflect on all that we have accomplished together.

We want to express our sincere gratitude to all staff for your leadership and dedication to the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board and our Catholic community. Much gratitude to your commitment to our students and their success as your actions through challenging times have been truly inspiring. We also want to thank our families for their unwavering support throughout the year. We are honored that you trust us with the important task of developing the minds and hearts of your children.

As the 2020-23 Board’s Strategic Plan concludes, we want to share that we are amazed how the vision and goals outlined by the Board of Trustees were realized through the implementation of the plan. We know that our staff, students and communities have benefited and we are excited to introduce our new 2023-27 Strategic Plan this September.

As we look forward to the summer break, we encourage everyone to take some time to rest, relax, and recharge. Spend time with family and friends, enjoy the great outdoors, and pursue your passions and interests. Use this time to reflect on all that we have achieved together and to set goals for the coming year.

We look forward to the start of the new school year with hope and optimism as we continue to grow together and are working on many capital projects as well as the construction of a new secondary school in Brantford and a new elementary school in Caledonia. As partners, we will continue to provide a faith filled, safe, welcoming, and inclusive learning environment for all our students.

May God bless you all and have a wonderful summer break.

Rick Petrella – Chair of the board of Trustees
Mike McDonald – Director of Education
