Full STEAM ahead for secondary students exploring future pathways

Brantford, Ont. – On May 1, local high school students can get an up-close and hands-on look at possible learning and career pathways in science, technology, engineering, arts, and math (STEAM). The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board and Grand Erie District School Board are hosting Vision of the Future 2024: The World is Waiting, the second STEAM conference for secondary school students across the region to inspire innovative thinking and creative approaches to problem-solving.

The Vision 2024 conference kicks off at the Sanderson Centre with a keynote address by best-selling author and speaker Sam Demma. Following the presentation, hosted in partnership with Wilfrid Laurier’s Brantford campus, participants will take part in workshops and seminars with employers, educational and community organizations to explore developing technologies, encourage collaboration, and challenge thinking to make the world a better place.
