“Then an Angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the Angel said to them, “Do not be afraid: for see – I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people: to you is born this day in the city of David and Saviour, who is the Christ, the Lord.” (Luke 2:9-11)
Dear families and staff,
As we celebrate the joyous season of Christmas, we are filled with immense gratitude for all members of the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board community. It is a time when we come together in faith, cherishing the blessings of love and togetherness.
The spirit of Christmas reminds us of the miraculous birth of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who brought hope, love, and peace to the world. It is a time to reflect on the values that guide us as a Catholic school community and to embrace the teachings of compassion, forgiveness, and understanding.
During this holy season, let us extend our hearts and hands to those in need, just as the three Magi did when they presented their gifts to the baby Jesus. Let us remember the importance of giving, not just material gifts, but also the gifts of our time, kindness, and support to those around us.
To our dedicated staff, we want to express our deepest appreciation for your unwavering commitment to our students’ education and well-being. Your passion and creativity shine brightly and we are truly grateful for your hard work and commitment.
To our wonderful families, thank you for entrusting us with the education and nurturing of your children. Your partnership and support have been invaluable. Together, we have created a strong foundation for our students to thrive academically, spiritually, and emotionally.
As we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, let us also take a moment to remember those who are less fortunate and may be experiencing hardship during this time. May our prayers and actions bring comfort, hope, and joy to those in need.
On behalf of the trustees and senior team of the Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board, we wish you and your loved ones a Christmas filled with warmth, love, and laughter. May the spirit of Christmas continue to guide us throughout the coming year, as we strive to create a nurturing and inclusive community where every child can flourish.
Merry Christmas and a blessed New Year!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Chair of the Board – Rick Petrella & Director of Education – Mike McDonald
